A while ago, we discovered that our Google Place page had been deleted. It transpired that this was as a result of our account having been suspended, following “black-hat” tactics employed by a company we had entrusted with our search engine optimisation a couple of years earlier and with whom we no longer had dealings. After years of trying to get my head around Google local business and being pretty unsuccessful, I woke one day to find my listing had disappeared altogether and nothing I did seem to make a diffence. Several months on still nothing and it was impacting on my business!
